Air Astana and Kaelis Amenity Kit Wins All Three of Awards for Second Consecutive Year

An Economy Class amenity kit designed by Kaelis for Air Astana has once again achieved a rare distinction: recognition across three of the inflight industry’s most respected award platforms. For the second consecutive year and having had the same recognition in 2018, an Air Astana product has received top honors at the OBH Magazine Awards, the TravelPlus Awards and the PAX International Awards — a reflection of ongoing innovation, collaboration and care in every detail of the passenger experience.

This year’s kit was awarded Best for Onboard Amenities: Economy/Low Cost Carrier at the OBH Magazine Awards, Best Economy Amenity Kit at the TravelPlus Awards and Best Economy/Premium Economy Kit – Central Asia at the PAX International Awards.
Created for inbound flights to Kazakhstan, the kit was developed with a strong emphasis on both comfort and environmental responsibility. Housed in a reusable shoebag made from eco-friendly non-woven fabric, the kit includes travel essentials such as a bamboo toothbrush, kraft paper-wrapped dental kit, cardboard pen, eye mask, socks, earplugs and moisturizing hand cream — all designed with zero single-use plastic.
These accolades mark a continued commitment by Air Astana and Kaelis to offer purposeful onboard products that enhance the passenger experience while supporting a broader vision for sustainability. The consistent recognition over two consecutive years highlights a shared philosophy: that inflight comfort can be both practical and planet-conscious.

The awards are a reflection of what’s possible when design, functionality and responsibility come together — and of the strength of long-term partnerships focused on meaningful innovation.
